Our Primary Program, Tulips & Irises, offers children a rich Montessori learning experience rooted in curiosity, independence, and purposeful work. Like tulips and irises, flowers known for their strength, structure, and vibrant growth, primary-aged children deepen their understanding, confidence, and sense of responsibility within a carefully prepared environment.
The Montessori curriculum encompasses Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Mathematics, along with early cultural studies, all presented through hands-on materials that progress from concrete exploration to abstract thinking. In a mixed-age classroom, children learn alongside and from one another, developing collaboration, leadership, and respect for the learning process.
As children build strong academic foundations, they also cultivate concentration, resilience, accountability, and a genuine love of learning. Guided by trained teachers, the Primary Program supports each child’s natural development while fostering independence, critical thinking, and confidence in their abilities.
Program availability and classroom groupings are determined by DFPS licensing
and enrollment capacity.
